Higher ground is about some teens who are sent to a school for troubled teenagers called Mount Horizon.
Where Peter Scarbrow (Joe Lando) is the headmaster and helps them deal with serious problems.

Scott (Hayden Christensen) is a troubled teen boy who turns to drugs because of his step mom's sick ways. she would seduce scott and make him sleep with her, but soon scott's father realized that his drug problem was getting to serious and he decided it was best to send him to Horizon.

Shelby (A.J. Cook) is troubled who was abused by her stepfather so she ran to the streets and used prostitution to get money. so she ended up at horizon to help herself and falls for newcomer scott.

there will be more about the other charactors later on on this page, but there other problems deal with self mutilation, belimia, and alot more. so if you haven't seen the show, go to the sights and sounds of Joe lando or The life and times of peter scarbrow and gets some clips. Higher ground Hi, this is my newer column on the show higher ground. it was on in 2000, but was taken off the air because of not getting many people to watch it. It's a wonderful show, and if anybody agrees with me, sign the patitions all over the net and show you're devotion to hayden and the best show ever!
